Cycling from Phya Rai to Chiang Khong is 70km. Chiang Khong is the end town in Thailand to Laos. I have to take a boat to cross the Mekong river to Houei Xai, Laos.
Met a France cycling on the way and cycle with for about 10km. He went of saying I am slow. He cycle about 200km in 8 hours, He is retire from his job and living in Chiang Rai with Thai wife.
This man is a kind man, I told him I need to eat there is no shop around to buy food. So I eat sticky rice with BBQ fish together with his family.
